Case Study: Leena Lemola, KoKoLeLe, Finland

Company Background

I consult and train small and medium sized entrepreneurs in their business development. I use customer based methods, like service and business design. I also train various kinds of organisations in service design, strategy management, customer relationship management, service development and production, change management, know-how and competence management etc. Primarily I operate in the business regions of Turku and Hämeenlinna.

What were the highlights of the course?

The course is perfect for those who are not yet familiar with the subjects. It also works well as a recap and increasing general awareness for the more digitally advanced entrepreneur. I heard about a senior aged sole entrepreneur who is particularly enthusiastic about the cloud solutions that were not familiar to him. So, age does not limit digital learning!

The methodology used in the training was interesting with the assessments and modules. I was particularly interested in the social media module and it was nice that I was able to start with the module that interested me most.

There is not much free training available in Finnish language, it was interesting to learn some terms and words in Finnish.

Impact - How has being on the course helped you as an individual?

I found some new contacts and potential customers.

Is there anything you do now in your business that you wouldn’t have otherwise done?

I plan to take advantage of the TUAS multimedia lab which is available for ME’s. This will help me to create high quality photos and videos.

Would you recommend the course/online platform to other people?

Yes. I also recommended the course in my blog text. I will encourage my customers to participate in this course.

Any advice that you would offer other businesses?

Useful training. The glossary already gives a lot of general knowledge.
